Cactus flowers are spectacular and borne in a splendid array of color and diversity. They are remarkably photogenic. One of our favorite cactuses is not especially attractive, but the flowers are stunningly beautiful. We have more than 90 cactuses and a few other succulents and watch for new additions at flower shows. Our cacti are prolific bloomers which never fail to adorn the garden with their glorious flowers every spring and summer. In 2008 we hope to make photos of the plants and their flowers and identify them.
